When I moved to Bayfield four years ago I really did not know anyone. I was told that the library had a garden club that met once a month, so I decided to attend one of the meetings. Everyone at the meeting was so nice and welcoming, I felt right at home right away.
I would not have considered myself to be a gardener at that time, but I certainly do now. There is such an amazing collection of gardening knowledge within the people who are apart of the garden club. I really don't know what I would be doing if I never attend that first meeting.
This garden club is just one of the many clubs, activities, events that the library has to support our community and the people that live here in Bayfield. I also have three children, a five year old, a three year old, and a seven month old. All my children have attended many of the events and activities that the library has for children, Jammin Juniors, Story Time, Caregiver Café, Crafternoons, Little Artists, just to name a few.
Without the passionate, friendly, energetic staff and without the library my children would not have a place to go to enjoy all these activities. They have benefited so much from everything that the library has done and continues to do.
I fully, 100 percent support the Pine River Library and its staff.
