Stephanie Moran has earned her spot on the Durango 9-R school board. Her experience as a teacher for over 40 years helps her to understand the challenges faced by those in the trenches. She is also the parent of two 9-R graduates and has seen the system in action from both sides.

I worked alongside her for years as she tirelessly sought to provide educational opportunities to our communities most venerable at the Durango Adult Education Center. She is one of the hardest working women I know.

I guarantee that she will put in the extra hours to assure that our students are safe, supported and are receiving a high quality education.

I am an educator and a parent of 9-R students, and I’m voting for Moran.
