Want to intern for a U.S. senator?

Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., is accepting applications from undergraduate or graduate students for internships in his Washington and Colorado offices.

Internships are unpaid, full-time or part-time positions in Washington or in Durango, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Denver and Pueblo.

Bennet has about 25 interns spread through his Capital and Colorado offices.

Interns in Washington attend hearings and briefings, meet with Congressional officials and their staff, lead Capitol tours and draft correspondence.

In-state interns help constituents navigate federal regulations and processes, represent Bennet at local events or meetings, and research legislative matters.

The deadline for applying for a spring semester internship in Washington is Nov. 15. An application for an internship in Colorado can be made anytime. Online applications are made at www.bennet.senate.gov/services/internships/ .
