Water should limit subdivision size

Where is the water? I live two miles from the Burkett subdivision. Twenty-five families live on my road and almost half have to haul water. What if we have more winters without snow? I have lived for 35 years where I live now, and I have had two wells.

The subdivision is too large, and do you think the Burketts will pay for the on- and off-road improvements to the U.S. 160 and County Road 223 also? This subdivision is too massive with no accountability. Turn it down. Remember, no snow, no water.

I’ve seen drought here on and off for 45 years. Who are we kidding? Sounds like this Is all about the county and Burkett greed. By the way, the Burketts have not lived here for years. Money doesn’t make water. The county downsized another subdivision one tenth of the size because of no water on CR 223.
