We need a resistance and Sen. Bennet is MIA

Where are you, Michael Bennet? Where is your backbone? Stop sending emails begging for money and do something.

We are all poised and ready to follow a resistance movement. Where are the calls for impeachment? Where are the calls to shine a light on corruption, overreach, and executive abuses?

Liz Cheney suggested an independent, civilian-powered investigative coalition and even called for International Criminal Court involvement to stop the runaway grift and collapse of our democratic systems. She at least has suggestions.

Where are your ideas, Michael Bennet?

Our democracy is falling apart before our very eyes. And you are just waiting for the next election cycle. Stop being a complacent, complicit, ineffective, cowardly bystander and do your job. Represent the people and serve the Constitution.

Democrats, where is our resistance leader willing to stop current abuses and lead the way to future reforms? We need our government to work again. Eighty percent of Americans agree with your agenda, and you are sitting on your hands doing nothing.

Demand campaign finance reform, and election reform (eliminate the electoral college, gerrymandering, and institute multiparty, ranked voting in all states). Demand universal health care, minimum qualifications for federal and supreme court judges, and federal agency department heads, and fix our immigration system.

And we need a “New Tomorrow Deal” that requires all action by our government, from new legislation to executive actions to address our climate crisis and income inequality, to rebuild our middle class, and to safeguard our future.

Where are you, Michael Bennet?
