A big thank you to Jeff Bork (“Vote No on 2; city can afford new police station now,” Oct. 13). Every word you said is so true!
Even the Herald has to admit that Ballot Issue 2A is ill-conceived and not well thought out. One of the few times (in my opinion) the Herald is correct.
I would just like to add one more fact to clarify why Montrose County, our close neighbor, is able to do so much more with so much less money. Republican voters far outnumber Democratic voters, very much unlike our Durango. Too sad for us Durangoans!
