As an independent voter, I follow the publications of whomever is elected for my district/state. After receiving her latest email this morning, I admit Lauren Boebert has shocked me again.
“Let’s stick it to the liberals this holiday season,” the message proclaims on her behalf. Clearly a message created in an irony-free zone. I’d like to humbly suggest an alternative strategy for the “holiday” season. Why not just try to be decent human beings? Let’s talk about what we are grateful for, what we are proud of and what made us smile. Less judging and more helping.
The time we spend on hate and divisiveness is time we will never get back.
