First year Fort Lewis College sprinter Skyln Webb broke two records on Saturday at the Air Force Invitational to lead the Skyhawks women’s indoor track and field team.
Webb broke the 200 meter dash FLC school record in 26.20 seconds and also broke the school record in the 400 with 57.0 seconds. The 400 win earned the team three points.
Brooke Milliet set a new FLC record of her own in the long jump with 4.5 meters. Jazmyne Reining ran a 8.27 second 60 meter dash, Carly Wilborn recorded a season’s best in the 800 with 2:31.65 and Emily Bryant ran 5:37.69 in the 1600.
Fort Lewis’ next competition will be Feb. 5-6 at the Western State Colorado University Alumni Open in Gunnison, Colo.
