Spraying along the Animas River Trail will begin Wednesday, May 24, and continue through May 30, weather permitting, to improve the quality of city rights of way, parks and open spaces.
The city, which contracted with Tres Mesa for noxious weed abatement, promotes best management practices to ensure safety. Herbicides include 2,4-D Amine and Perspective. The weed control has been approved by the Environmental Protection Agency.
