After being open for less than five years, the Durango Welcome Center, 802 Main Ave., recently announced its 500,000-plus visitors, the Ross family, Ryan Rebecca, Levi, Shelby and Bailey, of Dallas, Texas. They previously visited Durango on their honeymoon 14 years ago and returned to share the location with their children.
“The Welcome Center staff assists community members and helps visitors enjoy their time in Durango,” Bob Kunkel, welcome center founder, said in a release.
