Over the last four months, I have had the honor of getting to know both Dave Woodruff and Gilda Yazzie. Let me tell you this: Durango is in good hands.
Gilda Yazzie is kind and intelligent. She will bring a perspective that has been missing from our City Council. And for that, I am grateful. Dave Woodruff is thoughtful, wise and a breath of fresh air. His commitment to our community is beautiful. And losing an election to a man like Dave is easy because I know he will represent us wonderfully.
I started this campaign with a promise of representing the working class and underrepresented people of Durango. And I plan to keep that promise. My vision for a Durango that is inclusive, sustainable and accessible for all continues. I look forward to what my future holds.
