Well, I’ve made up my mind. And just in time, too, because the election is only about two months away. I’m going to give Guinn Unger, Democratic candidate for the Colorado State Senate, my vote.
Unger is running on three key issues: Healthcare: Unger believes we need a national healthcare system open to all, regardless of age, gender, ability to pay, or pre-existing conditions. Education: Unger wants to support our educators and to build and improve Colorado’s schools. At this time Colorado ranks near the bottom nationally on teacher salaries and near the bottom on investing in schools. Unger wants to change that.
Environment: Unger wants to preserve our beautiful landscapes, grazing lands and farmlands. He believes in smart, sensible regulations that preserve our unique environment while fostering responsible growth as well.
