Wetland restoration project needs volunteers

The Mountain Studies Institute is looking for volunteers to help with a wetland restoration project on Saturday.

Restoration of a wetland at Ophir Pass at 11,000 feet in elevation near Silverton has been ongoing. Revegetation, erosion control and enhancement of natural hydrology are being carried out.

The Ophir Pass project kicks off the MSI summer restoration season.
