What is your face-covering style?

With Wednesday’s new guidelines, how will you cover up when you go out for essentials?
A face mask is shown at SugarHouse Industries on March 26 in Midvale, Utah. SugarHouse Industries, a Utah company that usually manufactures boat tops and covers, has reconfigured its operation amid the spread of the coronavirus to produce face shields and masks.

With the new guidelines issued Wednesday by San Juan Basin Public Health recommending residents cover their nose and mouth with a bandanna or homemade cotton covering when leaving home for essential travel, such as picking up supplies or going to the doctor’s office, we’re wondering what kind of covering will you use – will you opt for a conventional bandanna or go with something a little more creative? Will you sew your own mask out of bright cotton or wrap a scarf around your face? Show us what you’ve got and we’ll feature it in the Arts & Entertainment section.

Send a photo of your best covering to katie@durangoherald.com and be safe out there!
