Besides wanting to be better informed about local Durango happenings, I would like to support the local newspaper as a subscriber.
However, I am turned off by the significant political bias. Logic would suggest that being more politically neutral would stand the best chance of attracting the widest audience of subscribers. Why not attract more readers and subscribers? Why turn off anybody?
It would be refreshing to see all political opinions expressed and discussed. We would then hopefully have a more cohesive community, The Herald would likely have more subscribers, me included.
