Football fans are elated. College football opened up with a great week one and the NFL season begins on Thursday night.
There are plenty of appetizing college football matchups across the country this weekend. Here’s what matchups Colorado Division I schools have:
Where: Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska
How to Watch: NBC or Peacock
Records: Colorado is 1-0 after a 31-26 comeback win against FCS’ North Dakota State. Nebraska is 1-0 after a 40-7 win against UTEP.
Line: Colorado is either a seven or a 7.5-point underdog to Nebraska depending on the sportsbook.
Notes: Colorado and Nebraska matchup for a second straight season in week two. Last year, Colorado beat Nebraska 36-14 to open the Deion Sanders era at home with a win and move the Buffaloes to 2-0.
This year, highly touted Nebraska freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola will lead the Cornhuskers against the Buffaloes. Raiola was a five-star prospect in the 2024 high school recruiting class, ranked as the seventh-best player in the country and the second-best quarterback in the 2024 class according to 247Sports.

Records: Northern Colorado is 0-1 after it lost to Incarnate Ward 28-7 and Colorado State lost to Texas 52-0 and is 0-1.

Records: San José State is 1-0 after beating Sacramento State 42-24. Air Force is 1-0 after beating Merrimack 21-6.
Line: Air Force is favored by 5.5 points.
Notes: In its first game, Air Force scored all three of its touchdowns on the ground. Air Force was picked fourth in the Mountain West Conference preseason poll.
Spartans quarterback Emmett Brown threw for 298 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in San José State’s opening win. Wide receiver Nick Nash caught 10 of those passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns.
