It feels like it’s only been a minute since the college football season started, but it’s already been two months.
Week 10 of the college football season is here and there’s still plenty to gain in the final month of the regular season.
The top teams can solidify their College Football Playoff seeds while other teams battle for the last few spots. Plenty of teams, including some Colorado Division I teams, still have a shot at getting to a bowl game. Others are playing to end a tough season on a high note and save their coach’s job.
Three of the four Colorado Division I college football teams are playing this weekend with Colorado State having the week off. Here’s a look at what matchups Colorado Division I college football teams have this week:
Where: Folsom Field, Boulder
How to watch: FS1
Records: Colorado is 3-5 overall and 1-4 in the Big 12 Conference after its 53-7 loss at Utah last Saturday. Arizona is 4-3 overall and 1-3 in the Big 12 after its 31-28 loss at Houston on Oct. 18.
Line: Arizona is between a 3.5 and 4.5-point favorite depending on the sportsbook
Notes: Colorado got destroyed against Utah last weekend and trailed 43-0 at the half. The Buffaloes’ halftime deficit to the Utes was their worst halftime deficit since 2012. It also the worst loss against Utah for Colorado; Utah is 12-2 in its last 14 meetings against Colorado.
The Buffaloes allowed 422 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns against Utah. The Utes had 587 total yards compared to 140 for the Buffaloes. Colorado quarterback Kaidon Salter was benched after he completed 9/22 passes for 37 yards and an interception. Ryan Staub took his place and went 4/8 passing for 65 yards.
Two weekends ago, Arizona lost on a last-second field goal to Houston. Wildcats quarterback Noah Fifta had a stellar game and finished 24/26 passing for 269 yards and two touchdowns. Arizona did allow Houston to rush for 232 yards and a touchdown and have three passing touchdowns.
Last season, Colorado beat Arizona, 34-7.

Records: Air Force is 2-5 overall and 1-4 in the Mountain West Conference after its 24-21 win vs. Wyoming on Oct. 18. Army is 3-4 overall and 2-3 in the American Conference after its 24-17 loss at Tulane on Oct. 18.
Line: The line for this game varies, with Air Force as much as a 1.5-point favorite on some sportsbooks and Army as much as a 1.5-point favorite on some sportsbooks.
Notes: On Oct. 18, Air Force snapped a five-game losing streak with its win over Wyoming. The Falcons had success on the ground and finished with 330 yards and two touchdowns, compared to only 33 yards through the air. Quarterback Liam Szarka led the rushing attack with 141 yards and a touchdown. On defense, the Falcons interecepted the Cowboys twice.
Army’s game against Tulane was tied going into the fourth quarter and the Black Knights even led 17-10 early in the fourth before Tulane scored two unanswered touchdowns for the win. Tulane had a balanced offense with 261 passing yards and 141 rushing yards while Army’s offense was led by 233 rushing yards.
The Black Knights have won four of the last five matchups against the Falcons, including a 20-3 win last season.

Records: Northern Colorado is 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the Big Sky Conference after its 27-16 loss vs. No. 6 UC Davis last Saturday. Montana State is 6-2 overall and 4-0 in the Big Sky Conference after its 34-17 win at Cal Poly last Saturday.
Line: No line
Notes: Northern Colorado couldn’t recover against UC Davis after it was outscored 21-7 in the second quarter. Bears quarterback Eric Gibson Jr. finished with 269 yards, one touchdown and one interceptions. Northern Colorado allowed UC Davis to finish with 452 yards of offense.
Montana State dominated Cal Poly on the ground and finished with 290 yards and three touchdowns.
