Rep. Jeff Hurd voted to overturn protections of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in Minnesota and open them up to potential mining. He has talked about the importance of our public lands here in Colorado and how it’s a resource for all of us to enjoy for recreating, hunting, etc. He does not think Colorado public lands should be given over to developers or private corporations. Not OK for Colorado but it’s OK for Minnesota?
