The Durango Herald’s recent story “Phil Weiser would go after the maker of OxyContin, work to reform dark money” (Aug. 13) is ironic especially after reading other accounts of how Democrat Phil Weiser has raised a good portion of his money in the state attorney general’s race from out of state and his opponent, Republican George Brauchler, is getting most of his funding from everyday Coloradans.
It is disingenuous for Phil Weiser to lambaste his opponent for something he is actually doing.
Phil Weiser needs to step up and be accountable.
Stop trying to dupe us. Tell us who is giving to your campaign and how much. We have a right to know.
I am voting for George Brauchler for Colorado Attorney General.
