With more than $50 million in earnings this year, Diddy is the top earning hip-hop artist of 2013, according to Forbes’ Cash Kings list. Sorry, Jay Z. But the rapper is No. 2 with $43 million. Plus, his wife works. Dr. Dre rounds out the top three with $40 million. Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore and Lewis made their Cash Kings debut with $9 million each. Nicki Minaj ($29 million) is the only female on the list.
Collectively, the hip-hop artists on the Cash Kings list made $256 million this year, $15 million more than the 10 top-earning DJs.
