‘Will Council bow to handful of residents?’

Now that the city has shown us how deceitful they really are with their scam surveys that were designed to promote their already chosen plans for Main Avenue, can we trust them to do what we elected them to do? I don't trust them to spend my tax dollars wisely when they are so easily swayed by such a small sampling of voters. The vast majority of the taxpayers are being ignored so a chosen few can get their way.

Will the City Council bow to the handful of residents that want the train whistle silenced? There was a whistle when those folks moved here. Will the Council side with the very few that want the clock tower silenced? Those chimes were chiming when those folks moved here. These types of people moved here with the express purpose of changing Durango to their liking. How can the Council possibly betray the majority of taxpayers by erasing the history of Durango?

Shame! We need for the people in charge to actually care about Durango. Too bad we don't vote for City Council in November.
