The Durango Business Improvement District works for Downtown and North Main District businesses. BID has a North Main promotion coming up next week called NoMAD.
NoMAD stands for North Main Autumn Days. NoMAD encourages, incentivizes and rewards you for supporting North Main District businesses in the last two weeks of September.
NoMAD starts Monday. Purchases at any of the more than 80 eligible North Main District businesses count for this promotion. Once you have spent $250, you can win a $50 Heart of Durango Dollars digital gift card.
You can combine up to 10 receipts to reach the $250 spending limit. Did you go to Zia for taco Tuesday? Save that receipt. Did you get an amazing sandwich at Tom’s Deli? Save that receipt, too. Maybe you got some flowers from Adela Flora, or perhaps you got a haircut from Legend’s Barbershop. Did you buy your pet some new food and toys at Pet Haus? All those purchases qualify for this promotion.
The first 50 people to submit receipts from any of the 80-plus eligible businesses, that are dated no earlier than Monday, and that add up to at least $250 will win a $50 Heart of Durango Dollars digital gift card. Spend $250, get $50 back! There are no catches or gimmicks here, it is really that easy. This promotion will end on Sept. 30, or when all 50 gift cards have been claimed.
All the details and the form to submit your receipts are at NorthMainDistrict.org/nomad. Support North Main District businesses and let BID reward you for doing so.
Let me tell you a little bit about the reward for supporting North Main District businesses during NoMAD. BID’s Heart of Durango Dollars digital gift card is a relatively new form of local currency.
