Looking for a solution to fix the intersection of Florida Road, East Third Avenue and 15th Street is surely going to be complicated by not being able to stop the continuous, nonstop flow of traffic coming up 15th Street, which exists now.
Any halt in that traffic in the winter time, with snow or icy conditions, would mean some vehicles wouldn’t be able to get going again on that steep hill. Even a roundabout can require you to slow way down or stop before entering it.
The traffic engineer who can successfully redesign that narrow, busy intersection should also be the next mayor because he/she will be talented enough to solve most of this city’s problems.
Well, maybe not.
