Jinn, a wolf rescued in December and now a resident of Wolfwood Refuge.
Wolfwood Refuge will host its annual "Saturday with the Wolves" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 1 at Five Branches Campground on 4677 CR 501A in Vallecito.
There will be a wolf talk at 1 p.m. Lunch is available at noon from Five Branches for a $5 donation to Wolfwood.
Visitors will get to meet and pet ambassador wolves, take photos, "receive wolf kisses and go home with all the free wolf fur your clothes can handle," according to volunteers.
Please do not bring dogs.
