Wolfwood Refuge in Ignacio will kick off its community presentation season from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Purgatory Village Plaza. An educational talk will be offered at 12:30 p.m. Photos are allowed, and unique Wolfwood merchandise will be available with 100% benefiting the refuge.
Wolfwood’s well-known ambassadors Oakley and Ra are expected to retire after the 2020 season because of their advancing years. They may still be visited during tours at the refuge. Most of Wolfwood’s 2020 community visits have been posted online at www.wolfwoodrefuge.org.
