Grounded before it ever took flight due to the weekend's snowstorm, last Saturday's Centauri-at-Bayfield baseball doubleheader has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 3, with the first pitch set for 2 p.m.
Standing 7-3 overall, and still 0-0 in the 3A Intermountain, the Wolverines will look to finally begin league work this weekend with a two-fer tomorrow at struggling Alamosa (0-10, 0-0) starting at 11 a.m. The Mean Moose were to begin IML play last Saturday at Monte Vista (2-8, 0-2) but reports had it that the snowfall in the San Luis Valley was far greater than what covered the Pine River Valley.
MVHS is slated to welcome Pagosa Springs (1-7, 0-0) for a pair tomorrow, also starting at 11 a.m..
