The Womenade Council would like to thank the generosity of the donors during our July fundraising event at the Rochester Hotel. Because of their support, eight people in our community received one-time grants for rent, hearing aids, car repairs and moving costs. Without these grants, many of the recipients face the downward financial spiral that is difficult to overcome.
We would like to also thank Kirk Komick and Diane Wildfang for providing the space for our fundraiser at the Rochester’s Secret Garden. Their continued support of our efforts allows us to gather together and enjoy an “Evening Out with a Purpose.” We also thank the Women’s Resource Center for their support and dedication to the Womenade program.
Womenade is a grass-roots organization that provides one-time grants to people who are self-sufficient and are experiencing an unexpected financial hardship.
We invite you to join us from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 23 for our next Womenade event, “Evening Out with a Purpose.” It is an opportunity to join with friends at the Rochester and decide who will receive the donated funds.
