The Womenade Council would like to thank the generosity of the donors during our May fundraising event at the Rochester Hotel. Because of their support, eight people in our community received one-time grants for rent, car repairs and tires. Without these grants, many of the recipients face the downward financial spiral that is difficult to overcome.
We would like to thank Kirk Komick, Diane Wildfang and the staff of the Rochester Hotel for providing us with the perfect space to gather for our event. We also thank the Women’s Resource Center for their dedication to Womenade.
Womenade is a grass-roots organization that provides one-time grants to people who are self-sufficient and are experiencing an unexpected financial hardship.
We invite you to join us from 5:30 to 7 p.m. July 22 for our next Womenade: “Evening Out with a Purpose.” It is an opportunity to join with friends at the Rochester and decide who will receive the donated funds.
