Womenade of La Plata County will hold its May potluck and fundraiser from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Secret Garden at the Rochester Hotel, 726 East Second Ave.
The event’s goal is to raise $4,500 to provide one-time grants for nine women in the community who are experiencing unexpected financial hardships. Donations will be used fund car repairs and registration, electrician services, new tires and play therapy for children.
