San Juan Basin Public Health encourages residents to promote women’s health through Saturday during the 19th annual Women’s Health Week.
The observance, led by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service’s Office on Women’s Health, reminds women to prioritize their health and build positive habits.
SJBPH encourages women 21 to 64 years old receive free breast and cervical screenings through its Women’s Wellness Connection program. The program offers clinical breast exams, Papanicolaou tests, pelvic exams, mammograms and cardiovascular tests, such as blood pressure, cholesterol, body-mass-index and heart screenings.
