Women’s march supports justice for all

The Herald is right to remain alert to signs and instances of prejudice and injustice (“

No matter from where it originates, we must commit ourselves to confronting and resisting bias and discrimination if we are to have a society that is fair and just.

Racial, gender and sexual-orientation biases continue to exist despite progress that has been made, and have been egregiously inflamed in recent times.

We who are organizing this year’s Women’s March seek to send a message of inclusiveness and respect and to call out attempts to marginalize any group of people.

While the specific theme of this year’s March is empowering women, which we celebrate, it is all in the context of our commitment to love, inclusiveness, and equal rights for all.

Our community consistently shows up for social justice and we look forward to again sending a powerful message of our values in this year’s Women’s March.

Join us Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. at the train station and bring your signs advocating justice for all.
