Women’s Resource Center will celebrate Women’s History Month with a treasure hunt March 1 to 25.
The hunt will honor the theme of Women’s History Month, “Valiant women of the vote: Refusing to be silenced.” The circuit will be a walking tour of downtown Durango. Participants will receive clues for a variety of selected landmarks and will submit answers through a dedicated mobile app.
The cost is $20, but more is always appreciated and will go toward keeping women and families afloat during difficult times. Families and dogs are encouraged, with three prizes to be awarded. Participants are encouraged to wear masks.
Winners will be announced at the closing event March 27 at the Rochester Hotel’s Secret Garden, when Tiffany Lee will be honored as the 2020 Extraordinary Woman Award recipient. Masks are required and social-distancing guidelines will be enforced.
