La Plata Conservation District and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service will hold a Local Work Group meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. June 14 at the La Plata County Extension building, 2500 Main Ave.
This public meeting is being held to seek input from constituents in developing conservation priorities for local conservation concerns and to direct NRCS programs. This meeting is open to all interested members of the general public. The Local Work Group will focus on identifying agricultural and natural resource issues existing in the community and providing information and feedback to direct NRCS programs.
