The next phase of work by contractors for the hotel development at 1111 Camino del Rio will begin Tuesday.

Working hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. There may be occasional Saturday or Sunday work days.

The hotel development includes several required highway enhancements on Camino del Rio near Town Plaza.

The enhanced highway features are privately funded by hotel developers and constructed by New Generation Construction of Nebraska, while overseen by Colorado Department of Transportation traffic and safety staff. The work is expected to be completed by mid-June.

The improvements include center median construction, driveway and curb and gutter construction, street tree installation, signage and striping.

Road enhancement items already completed include construction of a shared driveway with Natural Grocers and improved curbs and gutters. Drivers can expect delays along this corridor and are advised to allow themselves extra time or seek alternate routes.

From Tuesday through June 12, there will be occasional single-lane restrictions controlled by flaggers as crews bring in equipment and set up work zones.
