The Ignacio Wildcats took second in the 7th-8th grade division of the SunUte tournament, then competed the next weekend in a tournament in Las Vegas, Nev.

Mid-America Youth Basketball held a boys' tournament March 21 at SunUte Community Center, with teams from the Four Corners participating. The next area MAYB tournament is April 25 in Durango.
