Zuber brings practical experience

We are proud to support our daughter, Jodi Zuber, for a position on the LPEA board of directors.

Jodi brings something that truly matters right now: real-world experience managing budgets, operations and energy costs. For more than 13 years, she has worked for La Plata County and currently serves as general services office manager. In that role, she helps oversee operations for approximately 25 county facilities, managing utility payments, tracking energy usage and ensuring costs stay within budget.

She is responsible for paying and auditing invoices, tracking project expenses and reconciling 14 department credit cards. She also prepares budgets and conducts detailed cost analyses on utilities across county buildings, including reporting for state energy programs. This level of financial responsibility and accountability is exactly what LPEA members should expect from board leadership.

Jodi has been working since childhood, helping in our family’s restaurants and bar, where she learned firsthand the value of hard work, customer service and financial responsibility. She later studied business at Mesa College and built on those skills throughout her career.

She also manages maintenance and custodial teams, giving her hands-on operational experience and a clear understanding of how rising costs affect services.

Jodi is committed to our community and will bring a practical, disciplined approach to the LPEA board.
