Free class to focus on stress reduction

A free, introductory class about Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Studio 10 of the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave.

Janet Curry, a licensed professional counselor in private practice and a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction provider, will lead the program. The program has shown to be effective in reducing symptoms of stress, pain and illness, and in cultivating greater calm, clarity and well-being.

Resolving allergies to be discussed
