We have a lot to be proud of in Bayfield; good schools, great school activities, Fourth of July parade, a growing Mill Street business community.
At the center is our library. It’s an award-winning gathering place with a librarian recognized for her achievements.
The library has been a good steward of our tax money – no new taxes since the mill levy increase in 1999 that allowed the funding for the new building.
Visitors rave that a small town has such a great library. Now it’s time to step up and continue to fund the programs, hours and staff that will keep it great.
Vote Yes on an increase in the mill levy for Pine River Library.
