Tourist train belongs on a scrap heap

Tim Wolf’s

I don’t believe the current tourist train and its owner are worthy of such honor and distinction.

A museum is supposed to prolong and preserve a person’s or an institution’s integrity and contribution to society.

By not admitting to the huge destruction that the current tourist train has caused, as was promised a year ago by its owner should it be deemed responsible for such destruction, is in fact incredibly irresponsible and truly insensitive to those in the community so deeply harmed.

It has long been said that if we say we have no sin then we deceive ourselves and the truth is not within us.

Despite the incredible historical significance of the railroad and its importance to Durango, the current tourist train and its ownership deserve not a place in any museum, but a scrap heap.
