Local media is an extremely important source of the news we all need to be informed citizens.
I’m a longtime Durango Herald subscriber and supporter. I understand the need to reduce the publications weekly from seven to four days, and I even understand the reduced size of each paper.
But I do not understand the reason for irrelevant editorials.
This medium should be the backbone of the newspaper.
Quite frankly, the letters to the editor are more interesting to read than your editorials.
Is the Durango Herald afraid to take a position? How did this happen?
