It is unfortunate to witness the negative tactics of our national campaigns playing out here in La Plata County. Candidates for public office should tell voters about strengths for the job and how they can make the lives of the voters better. Allison Aichele did exactly that four years ago when she ran for county treasurer and, once again, she is running a positive campaign.
Allison is telling voters of her relevant working experience with Fortune 500 companies, such as Microsoft (project manager) and Pacific Gas and Electric. She was directly responsible for creating a modernized billing and collection system.
Over the past four years, Allison and her supportive staff have produced an efficient computer system to accurately account for the annual $150 million in revenue in our county and all of the thousands of accounts of taxpayer money that balances to the penny every day!
Taking a publicly held office from typewriters to a modern computer system has benefited all of us and this is only one of many accomplishments Allison has achieved as our treasurer. She earned our vote four years ago. She has definitely earned it again.
Vote for Allison!
