AHS uses a helpful approach to learning

I am writing to praise the academics and community Animas High School has cultivated in its school.

I’m an Animas High School graduate currently attending college out of state as a freshman. Animas High School uses a project-based learning structure to teach their students. I found this new approach to learning extremely helpful in preparing me for college.

Specifically, learning is more substantial when a person sees, hears, builds, creates and delves deeply – rather then being lectured to. My depth of understanding is more advanced than a lot of my peers; I’m in a competitive major and many did not return after holiday break.

Consider a tour of AHS before deciding which high school program is best for you or your student.
