Vote for 1A is a vote for arts and rec, too

A vote against the 1A sales tax increase is likely to be a vote against parks and rec expansion. So if you walk or ride your bike on our bike paths, play tennis/soccer/Frisbee at our parks, work out or swim at our Rec Center, raft on our river, boat or paddle board at our lake, hike on our city trails, picnic in our parks, love our outdoor amenities – please protect the money you voted for by a 70 percent margin to expand and maintain our city parks, trails, waterways and recreation center by voting YES on 1A in April.

And, by the way, if you envision a vibrant arts community that brings in tourists, supported in part by city dollars, as most towns with arts districts do, you will be disappointed if this measure fails.

The cost to you? It will add a mere 13 cents in sales tax to every $25 you spend. What a bargain.
