Is it part of the Herald’s editorial position? There is no mention of the many people and organizations supporting Senate Bill 19-181, which among other things would give more local control to municipalities relating to oil and gas development.
The reporter mentions as a possible impact on our San Juan Basin area that the operators may have to close and plug some of our old leaky wells.
Oh darn! Our notorious methane plume might be reduced.
