Mercy opens clinic in Bayfield today
Mercy Family Medicine will open a new clinic in Bayfield at 480 Wolverine Drive, Suite 3 today.
Mercy Family Medicine providers who will work at the new clinic are Richard Keller and Ronda Ramsier. Hours of operation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Appointments with providers at the clinic are available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and can be made by calling 764-9150.
Mercy Family Medicine also has two clinic locations in Durango: The clinic at the Horse Gulch Medical Campus, 810 E. Third St., Suite 201, which opened May 12, offers appointments from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, call 764-1790.

Free hypnosis available to those in need
Susan Urban, a certified clinical hypnotherapist for more than 25 years in the Four Corners and Southwest, is offering a limited number of free private sessions addressing stress reduction, pain management and goal-setting for people who are experiencing difficulties financially and/or physically and emotionally.
Hypnosis is recognized by the American Medical Association to be effective in helping people with these issues. The sessions will be available from Tuesday to May 30. Appointments required; candidates for the free sessions will be selected based on their situation, need and time available.
