San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington has established “Wash Hands Zones” at each of its facilities.

These zones, which are on every floor of the hospital outside the main and central elevators and outside every patient room, ask visitors to wash their hands upon arrival to the floor and when going in and out of patient rooms.

Outlying clinics are also equipped with “Wash Hands Zones” in waiting rooms and throughout each facility.
