I live north of downtown Durango and use Highway 550 on a regular basis for my commute to work in Hermosa. I must admit I am flabbergasted, bewildered and downright confused by the fact that Colorado Department of Transportation went ahead and repainted the lines on 550 the week of July 8, I believe, only to then perform “chip sealing“ the following week, which thereby erased all the lines that were just painted.
Where is the logic? Are our tax dollars that disposable these days?
Doesn’t seem to make very much sense to me.
