Don Coram of Montrose should resign.
Since Coram has been our state senator, he has done virtually nothing to reduce gun deaths. In fact, his record is so awful that he even voted against a ban on bump stocks, even though they were used in the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas in which more than 500 were injured and more than 50 killed.
Coram clearly has demonstrated that guns are more important than human lives and carries on the tradition of former state Sen. Ellen Roberts, whose actions as state senator also supported this notion.
It is time we have a state senator representing us who admits that the primary difference between us and other nations is access to guns, and supports common-sense gun reforms, including universal background checks and a ban and buyback program of assault rifles.
