Free dental clinics set for two schools
Free dental clinics for La Plata County students will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school-based health centers at Durango High School, 2390 Main Ave., and Florida Mesa Elementary School, 11274 Colorado Highway 140.
The clinics at DHS will be held Tuesdays, March 8, April 12 and May 17. Clinics at Fort Lewis Elementary will be held Thursdays, March 17, April 14 and May 12.

Heart Safe La Plata to offer classes
Heart Safe La Plata, a local nonprofit organization, announces these classes:
Adult CPR/AED class from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday.
CPR Pro class from 6 to 10 p.m. March 10.
The location of both classes is at Durango Fire & Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive.

Seasonal allergies to be discussed
Caleb Gates, a licensed acupuncturist, will discuss how symptoms from seasonal allergies, food sensitivities and sinusitis can be resolved using “Advanced Allergy Therapeutics” at 6 p.m. March 10 at the Durango Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
