Mancos gallery seeks ‘movement’ art
The next show at the Mancos Town Gallery will be “Mancos in Motion,” inspired by the Cowboy Half-Marathon.
Can you capture movement in your art, whether it’s photography or oil paints? Exciting new developments are happening at The Mancos Project, which is expanding its High Altitude Training Center. The Center manages the Mancos Cowboy Half Marathon, which will be held May 17 (www.cowboyhalfmarathon.com).
The Arts Council will accept work April 11 and 12 at the gallery at the Visitors Center at Boyle Park. Call Jan Wright (882-3130) or Marilyn Kroeker (533-7464) if you want to show. All media are accepted.
